Buxton Contemporary opened in 2018 at the University of Melbourne’s art school, the Victorian College of the Arts.
Birrarung means ‘river of mists’ in the language of the original wurundjeri people. Walk or cycle through native flora, state your case at Speakers Corner or relax with a barbecue and enjoy great city views. Birrarung Marr’s open spaces and sculptured terraces also host some of the city’s best events and festivals.
